Single Room couldn't be better

Spatious room with super comfortable queen bed (extra thick doona), pleasantly decorated. Modern bathroom with high pressure hot water shower, and quality toiletries included. Great service from the staff and breakfast was fine. Very pleased that this was my resting place on my 2-day hike.

Just ok

The hotel was just ok. Nothing special. While the beds had a lovely arrangement of petals on them, they weren’t particularly comfortable and the rooms were a bit noisy. Fortunately, we were tired and slept despite the noise.

We had booked this location with the understanding that it would be one night, and seemingly that we would be closer to the airport for our early morning departure- our expectations were for a no frills hotel. One of our two rooms smelled like cigarettes. Taxi drivers refused to pick us up from this location AND refused to drop us off. The staff was hit and miss, but mostly cold. The hotel is physically close to the airport, but with roads and traffic being what they are, you might as well choose the safer and easier options near the historical district. Overall, even with low expectations, we were not pleased.

Way too far from centre and more like a motel

The hotel is quite nice, but not so luxurious as the photos would indicate. It has more of a motel feel. The main problem however is the distance from the centre, which requires a fairly long taxi ride for 5-6soles each way. That said, the beds are comfy, the place is clean and there is a supermarket (tottus) nearby. It would be OK if you wanted to be near the airport too. Wifi was fast when it worked but often it didn't function.
