Short business trip

Good experience, lovely view to the river. We had a quite ok dinner at the Grill restaurant. Nice upgrade and summer gift for Radisson vip member.

Not really a palace

This hotel, which opened in the early 1970s, is a fine example of modernist architecture. Today, 50 years and multiple renovations later, little remains of this modernist icon. The interior is an amalgam of various styles that is better described as kitsch. Think of gold mirrors, velvet cushions, crystal chandeliers, and plastic plants. The rooms are run-down and, like the rest of the hotel, superficially cleaned. Do not look into details. Breakfast is served in a room that is more reminiscent of a factory canteen. Deafening noise, sloppy buffets, and tables displaying food remnants from previous users. The average age of the serving staff was 18, who were asked, without any training, to keep the place running. If you pay 180 euros per night as a customer and expect the level of a 4-star hotel, then this hotel is not the right choice.

Good location and friendly staff, but refurbishment needed

Hotel is well located and staff are very friendly, helpful. Rooms are dated and in need of refurbishment. Breakfast selection was good - with freshly made warm bread a plus. We used the hotel's bicycles to take a quick spin to Ruissalo Island, which was great.

Very, very average....

My family and I spent a night at the Blu Marina during a visit to Finland. The hotel is located on the promenade along the Aura River; along with the room rates, the hotel's only advantage. It is a dreary, outdated and unattractive hotel, desperately in need of a freshening up and renovation. Our room and its furnishings were basic and worn. Our bed was comfortable enough. Lighting was poor. The bathroom was basic, with a shredded rubber bath mat and minimum soap and toiletry items. The halls were dismal and worn; the decor of the hotel overall was late 50s ugly. Breakfast was sufficient, served in a large room unpleasant room. Staff was pleasant enough.

Great hotel & service

Finland is a beautiful country and Turku is also one of the important business centers of the country. When you need to be with a customer in this area, this hotel is definitely recommended.
