Handy location and secure parking

A great location just inside the city walls and not too much of a walk to the main attractions. Secure parking 150m away was quite tight even for a small car. Really friendly staff. Comfortable room and lovely shower. Nice design touches. Aircon was efficient and quiet and absolutely required in the 38degC heat. Breakfast was ok too. Really appreciated the chilled filtered water dispenser for guests to use near reception. Overall reasonable good value .

Very good.

Charming hotel with a courtyard, you hardly hear any noise. Good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. We were allowed to park the motorcycles in the garage.

Charming, quiet and well-located small hotel

We stayed 2 nights in this simple but charming small hotel at either end of a week of touring Provence by bike. It’s an easy 10 min walk from Avignon central train station and another 10 min walk to the historic town centre. Rooms vary a lot in size - our first room was much bigger and brighter than the second one, which was tiny verging on cramped - but both were clean, very quiet and looked recently refurbished. There’s a pretty central courtyard and there is secure bike storage. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and breakfast was excellent.

Great little hotel

This is a lovely, friendly little hotel just by the ramparts of Avignon, on the southeastern side of the town. The rooms are set around a lovely courtyard where guests can sit and relax under the olive and cypress trees. The room we had was quite small, but adequate, the bed was firm and comfortable, everything was clean and most importantly for us, the Wifi and A/C worked very well! The breakfast spread is also quite good and the staff are all lovely! There is no lift in the hotel though, but unless you have extremely heavy luggage or mobility issues, the short wide and curving staircase shouldn't pose a big problem. The only negative was its distance from the train station, it is just over a 10 min walk from Avignon Central and with cumbersome luggage, it can be a little inconvenient, especially when the most direct route has a 100m stretch or so without a pavement. Apart from that, it is very close to the Rue des Teinturiers and a lot of cafes and restaurants are well within easy walking distance. If we return to Avignon again, we would very seriously consider staying here again!

Great staff, great location, very French feel to the place. If, hopefully when, we get back to Avignon this is where we will stay
