Wonderful

During my cycling trip from Norway to France, I had booked a room on the Internet the evening before to refresh myself.
I arrived earlier than the scheduled time: to wait I had lunch there.
I ate well :) The manager kindly allowed me to use my room before the scheduled time. What a wonderful service she gave me, what a good nap of an hour or two allowed me to finish my day.
I was also able to leave my bike in the backyard.
Thank you very much Madam Manager of your hotel/restaurant, I have fond memories of it.

Excellent Value For Money

This is a two star hotel with very good service and the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. I was very impressed with the quality of the food, both evening meal and breakfast were most enjoyable. The owner speaks fluent English, and she is very helpful. The main centre of the town is within easy walking distance. A very enjoyable stay.

Very friendly and great restaurant

We were in the Somme area for the 100 anniversary on the motorbikes and this hotel was ideally located. The people who run it are very friendly and helpful and there is a secure yard at the back for safely parking the bikes which was good. The restaurant is excellent quality and value and i would certainly recommend it. The room wasnt massive but did the job and accommodated all our bike kit. The wifi was a bit iffy at times but not a major problem.

four day stay on the Somme

This hotel is perfectly situated for a visit to the Somme battlefield, as Bapaume was the German HQ immediately behind the front line. The hotel is fairly basic, but superb value for money. The restaurant is excellent, with a varied local menu; all I had (three evening meals) were very tasty and plentiful. The owner, Martine is friendly and helpful. In summary, a perfect budget choice for those visiting the Somme

Menu du marché. Cuisine maison, jusqu'au dessert. Un régal à prix très raisonnable. J'y retournerais. Personnel attentif sans être intrusifs. Bière pression de la région. Une découverte. Nous y retournerons.
