We enjoyed 2 fabulous nights with Andre and his wife.
Their home is just beautiful and very well maintained. It was spotlessly clean!
Our room was huge!
The bed was very comfortable.
The shower was lovely and hot.
Breakfast was amazing. Fresh local produce and coffee that gave us "gusto".
What really makes this hotel special is Andre and his wife. They are the perfect hosts. Andre provided us with itineries. We were travelling to Colmar when we checked out and he directed us up through the Jura Mountains - what a trip. The towns, villages and scenery were a delight.
There are 3 lovely lakes within easy reach and we spent a day visiting those.
The hotel is within easy reach of the Swiss border.
Andre - please use the ice packs that we left behind :)

PS I think the previous reviewer described a different property. We found the garden to be spectacular.

Nice hosts, charming place. Grade 3/5 from me.

Not easy to find, the signage could have been better. But very pleasant and helpful hosts, even though they did not speak a word of English. The room was large and spacious, and charmingly decorated with great French touch. Very comfortable beds.
What unfortunately pulls down the grade is the mess on the outside, why so boring dried up last year's plants in so many incredibly beautiful terracotta pots? The garden furniture should have been wiped clean and the lawn was unmowed. The courtyard could have given a much better impression with a little care. Cozy to sit in the garden and eat breakfast, even if it is quickly completed.
On Booking, this hotel has a 9.5 overall rating, unfortunately I can only give a rating of 7.5.

We loved it. Our room was huge and had everything we needed. We could easily walk everywhere. Breakfast was excellent and the owners were very friendly, helpful, welcoming...
