Wonderful break in Brest.

We had an enjoyable two-night stay at the Barracuda Hotel & Spa, with several highlights that made it a very pleasant break overall.
From arrival, the staff stood out as exceptionally friendly and helpful. They were always approachable, happy to assist, and added a genuinely welcoming feel to the whole experience.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, but the real highlight was the view—it really added something special to the stay and made it easy to relax and switch off.
The spa facilities were another strong point. They were calm, well-maintained, and perfect for unwinding.
Food in the hotel was good, particularly breakfast.
Overall, we had a nice stay. With its beautiful views and very friendly, helpful staff, the Barracuda Hotel & Spa offers a relaxing experience, and we would consider returning.

Beautiful hotel in the colorful harbor bustle.

We started our three-week trip to Brittany at this hotel.
The location is easily accessible by car from the airport and offers an excellent starting point to explore Brest on foot.
The rooms are spacious and well-furnished. However, the balcony somehow seemed unfinished - it had no real floor - just bare, rather unclean concrete.
Otherwise, it is a very nice house with a rooftop bar/restaurant. In the midst of the lively harbor.
The reservation for wellness treatments seemed complicated to us. Apparently, wellness cannot be booked through the reception - but often there was no one present at the wellness desk?!

Excellent, spacious room in modern hotel overlooking the marina - c 20 walk from Brest centre

My wife and I booked a Double Privilege Room with Balcony and Sea View for a 1 night stay in June at this modern hotel located by the marina. We were absolutely delighted with our room - c400sq feet, with a large comfortable bed, a large bathroom, a kitchenette, refrigerator plus secure car parking for which reservation was required, though the Eur20 per day was rather excessive given other rates we were charged during our visit. The balcony was a good size and there was an excellent view across the marina. The hotel's restaurant was closed when we visited on Monday but there is a variety of bars/restaurants along one side of the marina - we opted for Au Bureau brasserie which was excellent. We didnt use the spa facilities so can't comment. The staff at Reception were helpful and spoke good English, if required. We opted to stay at this hotel rather than in Brest centre - c20 min walk away - because we wanted a sea view.

Excellent hotel very well located with spacious rooms.

Excellent hotel very well located at the foot of the castle by the marina. Covered parking. Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Very welcoming staff. The hotel restaurant is acceptable.

Frog and ox ....

Hotel that claims 4 stars, but this does not justify an unpleasant welcome.
On arrival, extremely cold welcome, closer to a counter than to an establishment of this standing.
Parking is also very complicated around.
The rooms are decent, no more.
Particularly incomprehensible point: denial of access to the bar on a Saturday at 8:50 p.m., when the closure was announced at 10 p.m. Hard to accept.
Add to that the ambient noise associated with the immediate vicinity of the bars and nightclubs of the port, and you get an unrelaxing night.
First and last experiment. An establishment that clearly overestimates itself.
Add to that a claim hand-swept by an AI ...

Very good location
