Wonderful week away!

I visited havre de paix gites in August with my partner, we had the most wonderful time! We stayed in lime tree which is quirky and quaint, there was all amenities catered for and thought of!
The new owners have made a wonderful job of putting their own stamp on the place! The little extra touches really go the extra mile!
The location is great, we visited a few local markets, towns and attractions - however I really just wanted to stay by the beautiful pool all day! It was cleaned daily, the weather was perfect and an array of games were available to keep us entertained throughout our time!
I would 100% recommend for any time of year! Can’t wait to come back at the end of the year!

What a wonderful place!

My husband and I stayed for a week in August 2022 in Lime Tree. What a wonderful place! What a wonderful week! The house was clean and very well equipped. The new hosts, Sarah and Mick, gave us a warm welcome and provided us with lots of information and e.g. a brand new barbeque. Having our meals and sundowners every day in the court looking over the countryside was one of our highlights. The area is fantastic: A great countryside with a lot of things to do like hiking (Saint Mesmin), canoeing (Brantome), swimming (Natheuil), markets and cafés.
Thank you, Sarah and Mick, we will come back.

Wonderful hosts, beautiful surroundings... a perfect family holiday!

We visited with our 3 & 2 year old children in August 2022. Sarah & Mick had only recently taken over as hosts and they were wonderful - so welcoming and willing to help us with anything we needed. They were able to recommend some fabulous places to visit in just a short car journey away such as La Guinguette de Nantheuil (a spring water lake and beach 20 minutes away) and Kayaking down the river in Brantome (a beautiful town 40 minutes away).
The setting is quiet and idyllic with the most beautiful buildings and countryside views. The pool was perfect for the kids and they had the runaround of the grounds to play.
We will be back, thank you so much for a perfect week! :)
