Make sure you take the receptionists number ahead of your stay, otherwise you will struggle to check in, the reception is not always open.

The staff were very polite friendly and helpful. Though we had booked a back room, we got upgraded to one in the front of the hotel with a view over the river.
The room had individual heating control. On cold days this was most welcom.

Older property, furniture showed wear and could have been cleaner. The bed and bathroom were clean though.

Staff are friendly and helpful.
Decor is tired. eg big dent in the door. No hairdryer in the bathroom and the gap is dangerously exposed.
No place to lounge as instead of a sofa there are bunk beds!
