Staff were friendly and helpful.
I like that it's so near the Train station, so no need for transport, just check in and explore...
I like the Ibis you know what you will get and with their loyalty programme it's easy and good value to return even for solo travellers !!

Avoid at all costs

When booking through the Accor group, I didn't think I would experience my worst hotel night
Friendly welcome, but I would have liked to be informed that the AC wasn't working, and had been for a long time
Besides the very unpleasant smell in the room, it was impossible to sleep given the heat.
And what can I say about the noise and the mosquitoes with the window open
A fan present has never cooled down a room...

Very helpful staff

Okay, the AC is out and I hadn't been informed, but it wasn't 40 degrees outside so it was bearable; we could open the window wide at night. The staff is doing everything they can despite the situation. When I go to Nantes, I have been choosing this hotel for a few years because the location is great, the price is reasonable, it's clean, there is a very warm welcome, and the staff is available and friendly. Good breakfast buffet. An express option for those who aren't hungry in the morning would be a good idea.

To avoid, no air conditioning but a fan!

No air conditioning as stated in the hotel description.
Reservation made.
As a guarantee, I am sending a message to the hotel requesting confirmation of the air conditioning in the rooms, given the announced 40 degrees.
I am cheerfully informed that the hotel indeed has parking available for €15 per night.
I insist and send a second message in which I am finally informed that the hotel operates the air conditioning in the evening and that a fan will be provided to me.
All of this is in French filled with mistakes, which raises even more doubts about the quality of the facilities and the professionalism of the staff.
I am definitely canceling the reservation.
