The room at citizenM Paris Gare de Lyon is very well designed. Even though it’s not big, it has everything you need – from a comfortable XL bed to a great rain shower and smart controls for lights and blinds. I especially liked the tablet that controls everything in the room and the very fast elevators, which make getting in and out of the hotel quick and easy. The temperature in the hotel was always great – it was very hot in Paris, but the whole hotel is perfectly air-conditioned. It’s absolutely perfect for city trips: modern, practical and cozy, with no wasted space.

Hotel is ok to sleep, breakfast and lobby is ok, staff is friendly, the hotel is not that well maintained compared to other CitizenM, but is comfortable to sleep, the surroundings are ok, a little bit dirty as usual for beign close to a train station…

Felt Like A Dormitory

Three clerks and no greeting! We fumbled through the self-service registration process until a clerk told us we could toggle from French to English. We walked through a pitch black hallway and elevator bank, not unlike a parking garage. The room was TINY. A square bed was shoved into one end of the room with no room on either side. There was not enough room to easily accommodate two people and luggage. The sink was in the walking space just inside the door. The bathroom and shower had no real walls, only frosted glass. I could see the blurred image of my husband on the toilet! Egads!! What idiot thought that was a good idea?! Hey--the breakfast was good.

Beautiful view of the Seine great location

Always satisfied with this establishment. Last-minute reservation after 5 hours of train... to enjoy the air conditioning during this heatwave.
8th floor with a view of the Seine and in the distance, the Eiffel Tower
Hearty breakfast.
Always a bit of gymnastics to access the bed by the window side, but that's the concept. Very good bedding.
And great location to catch the train the next day.

Amazing stay thank you

We had a lovely stay at CitizenM. Very conveniently placed next to Gare de Lyon which gave us easy access for Euro Disney. Bed was large and comfy, nice shower and plenty of places to put your things. If you have a lot of luggage then you might want to choose a bigger room or hotel.
Checking in and out is fairly easy once you’ve got the knack of it.
Loved the free refill bottles of water you can take to your room too.
We also loved the hidden gems to visit so close by as well instead of the more obvious and crowded places to visit in Paris.
Would definitely stay again
