Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Domaine Véga ! Jacky et Claudie sont des hôtes adorables et le lieu est très authentique et calme. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent. Nous espérons y retourner un jour !

Bad experience:-(

Very disappointing experience at Vega estate which I do not recommend. Very obsolete and old rooms, the same is true for common areas. The cleanliness of the establishment as a whole is to be reviewed. We were also disappointed by the property owner’s hospitality which is overwhelming the guests (fortunately her husband is there to procrastinate and calm her down).

The best think about this place is the owners...they are delightful. We spoke little French and they spoke little English but with a little help from Google translate all was well. The only things worth mentioning for other travellers to bear in mind is that the property is a good 15 kilometres from the nearest place to eat and is in a very rural setting. However, the breakfast is a must with the best coffee of the 8 places we have stayed in during our France Andorra Spain Belgium road trip. Some of the building from the outside looks in need of further renovation but the guest rooms are in the newer building and are very acceptable although big people might find the shower cubicle a little tight. We had only booked in for one night and wished we had booked for a second so that answers the question of whether or not we would stay there again...most definitely we would.

Charming with Lovely Owners

We arrived here in the evening 6th Sept having booked 2 rooms via hotels.com for 1 night’s stay. The owners were pleased to welcome us although there was some confusion as they had only been warned to prepare one room by the booking agent. They quickly made up the second room but the following morning with the help of google translate (our French and the owners English was limited) it became apparent that the owners were embarrassed that one room had not been ready when we arrived.
It is worth mentioning that this property is a fair distance from the nearest local restaurant, but it does have lots of pluses.....the setting is very picturesque and opposite the driveway to the property is a field full of cows and birds of prey...we saw about 20 birds of prey flying around this field or in the trees.
You must take part in the breakfast experience...... proper red hot coffee with the owner having espresso sat next to you at the shared breakfast table. Homemade apple crumble and creme brûlée for breakfast was certainly a first for us!
Rooms very clean and bathroom adequate although shower cubicle a tight squeeze for those bigger peeps.
All in all we would recommend but give some thought to your evening meal arrangements.

Jacques et Claudie prennent soin de leur maison et de leurs hôtes. Nous avons été accueillis chez eux comme des amis dans un manoir chargé d’histoire. La piscine est ravissante. Nous vous recommandons.
