Usual stop in Campanile for our descent into Aveyron.

Very Good Welcoming. Air conditioning wasn't working. The person at Welcoming immediately found us another room. The room is clean. Very professional....

Good hotel.

On the website it is indicated that there is a restaurant for lunch and dinner.There is only breakfast Attention there is no more it is necessary to go to the restaurant which is next to the Leclerc not very far.The management of the hotel told us that he had reported it . it remained unanswered . Very welcoming staff.Very clean room, same bathroom.

Sleep there but don't eat there!

Rooms still "old-fashioned" but clean and comfortable. On the other hand, the restaurant....undercooked chicken, "fish'n chips" straight out of the freezer / microwave , inedible fries, salad....berk! Very decent breakfast that raises the tab a little and friendly staff.

Hotel yes, restaurant no

The hotel, a campanile, nothing more or less, nothing wrong except perhaps a high bathtub to straddle and slippery. but the restaurant, disaster! there are no longer the buffets of starter and dessert that made the success of the Campaniles. A small choice of starter, main course and dessert, as for the wine, I ask for a small bottles (as marked on the board) and I am told "out of stock, we have no more". Anyway, for the bed yes, for the table no.

Not easy to find

If you put the address of the hotel into your sat. nav. it wont find the hotel. Just put in Campanile Bourges and it will find it no problem. The location is not close to the centre of Bourges. Typical Campanile, comfortable and clean room with all the essential requirements. Plenty of free parking but don't forget that the restaurant isn't open in the evenings at the weekend.
