Great stay away from trouble

Stayed there for two nights, really nice guesthouse, slept great. The papaya from the Garden was probably the best of my life, def. the best in the philipines.
Xylla gave information about the witch-island and it was a gret atmosphere, really relaxed!
(Would recommened to go to someplace else to eat but this is a recommendation for the guesthouse)

Good place to relax

We would definitely recommend Xylla to get away from the main roads and hotels, but make sure to get a motorbike because it's kinda far from most things.
We hired a motorbike from the pier in Siquijor on arrival and drove to Xylla. It's around 40 minutes by bike.
The food really isn't great, although the prawns were delicious

Nature, wonderful staff with basic rooms

We enjoyed this very good value for money natural and philipino style accomodation. The staf are super nice and the nature around very nice. This is a place for those who love nature and no need luxuries.

Home away from home

We were supposed to stay a few days but we skipped the next destination to stay the whole week ! The staff, family and their friends are so friendly and kind !
On top of that it’s the cheapest place we have been in Philippines so far ! And they made awesome meals !
Thank you for your warm welcome, for this beautiful, fun & unforgettable week by your side !
If one day we come back to Philippines, we’ll come back to you for sure !!! Take care

Friendly, welcoming and relaxing in true filipino style

The guesthouse was one of our favourite properties in the philippines. We stayed for three nights at Xylla and were welcomed into the family as soon we stepped foot on the property. The room itself was a good size, as was the bathroom (although no hot water, normal for the philippines). There was also wifi in the property (a rarity for the philippines) and the family cooked the most incredible filipino food for you! Overall a great stay, a little out of the way to other reports and restaurants (25 minute scooter ride to San Juan) but the relaxing and quiet atmosphere was what we were after.
