Do not go to this hotel! The management is a pathological liar. Cut off a day short my stay as early as 9am because the water from tap smells bad. And they told me to communicate with the online app I booked because they would just have approved it from their end but they did not. Trip.com relayed to me that these liars said they declined my refund request. I asked them twice specifically if they would approve it before I left and said they would. But they did not and are still insisting. Scammers!

Surigao City trip

Got a great deal at this nice BnB Hotel rooms were very nice and nice dining room.We were stuck in the airport and no plans were made kind of winged it at the last minute.We got a flyer from a guy and he gave us free ride to hotel n to ferry in the morning.Also free dinner n breakfast he really helped us out.The accommodations were excellent I would definitely recommend and I am sure to be there again.

Taking their eye off the game

You can see from my reviews that I have stayed at the Grande a few times. My last visit I felt that they are losing some of their earlier gloss.
The hotel continues to offer a good hard product. The hotel facilities are good, clean, My wife said it was her best sleep in the Philippines. Even the aircon keeps up with the requirements.
On the days I was there the wifi was out of action. Hmmp.
At breakfast I asked for 'butter', "Sorry Sir No butter" (or margarine)
Can I have a tea then. "Sorry Sir No tea."
I admire the ability to deliver what they have done but I also think that it is not acceptable to not have Butter or Tea considering any local store has it.
The quality of the breakfast has dropped off and the only thing a westerner can eat is really toast. I think it's time to rethink the breakfast offer.
Now, for the price we paid, the good sleep, the customer friendliness we are still happy with the overall value and will stay again.
