Comfortable location
Our family of 6 enjoyed staying here for a week. Close to sweeping views of Rodney Bay, marina, dining, etc. The 3BR apt easily met our needs, plenty of space for indoor/outdoor relaxing. Only downside was a lack of screens for mosquito deterrence; the little beasts were plentiful (as expected in tropical setting). Host Simon is an congenial, knowledgeable local who can direct you to local activities. He quickly responded to our requests for information and assistance. Many thanks!
Rodney Bay was the perfect location for us. The long beach had its share of cruise ship tourists. The mostly-friendly locals hawking their wares targeted them, but were not aggressive and readily moved on.

wonderful apartment stay!
This was a fantastic place to stay! Simon and Francine were so welcoming! They had breakfast food in our fridge since we arrived late in the afternoon, so we didn't have to shop right away. The apartment is great with our own pool and Charlie the cat visiting us daily! Francine gave us an hour tour the morning after arrival, showing us the sites in the area and pointing out good places to eat, away from the typical tourist area, which we would not have found otherwise. Simon advised us about other sites to see including a light house over- looking the sea, in View Fort as well as a great restaurant by the water called the Reef. This really added to our stay, making our last few hours before leaving, so much more memorable!! Thank you Simon and Francine for the best stay possible!

Beautiful large apartment with pool
Blue Skies offers 3 very well fitted-out apartments in attractive gardens with a pool. Our party of 4 had the 3-bedroom apartment on the upper floor, very spacious indeed with a very large open-plan living room-dining area-kitchen and 2 verandas, one shaded, the other open. There is air-conditioning in the bedrooms, but just ceiling fans in the open-plan living area, so this could be a bit warm, but still OK. It all made for a very pleasant and beautiful place to relax.
Simon is a very helpful host and will sort any problems quickly. On our first full day, he gave us a tour by car of the local area, which was very helpful, and recommended local restaurants. He also gave us a local mobile phone for the duration of our stay, making it easy to contact him and other services such as taxis - I can recommend Ali who Simon arranged to collect us from the airport and also took us on a day's island tour.
Blue Skies is in a pleasant residential area between Gros Islet and Rodney Bay, but it's a hot mile-long walk to Rodney Bay centre (shopping mall) and even further to the beaches at Rodney Bay (Reduit Beach) or Gros Islet (which we found more scenic and quieter) You can get a bus most of the way to Gros Islet or Rodney Bay mall (in opposite directions) from the main highway, 5 to 10 minutes walk from the apartments, for EC$1.50. Many of the neighbours keep guard dogs and we did find the aggressive barking of dogs a nuisance.
The nearest restaurants are in the Rodney Bay Marina, just a short distance along the main highway. Closer still, there are a collection of food shacks at the end of the local road (5 to 10 minutes walk from the apartment), serving good local food in the evenings. I would especially recommend Deez Diner for Jerk chicken and pork.

lovely apartment
Just returned from Blue skies Apartments in St Lucia. We stayed for a week in the One Bedroom apartment. Lovely light and airy ground floor apartment with well equipped kitchen area and living space with several sofas. TV and radio and good internet provided. Simon and Francine provide a great welcome and show you the apartment, they also provided a basic supply of food / milk ............very useful if you arrive late in the day. They also show you the local area in an orientation tour which is excellent service and gives a great aid to planning on when to visit during your stay.
Great location just minutes from the Marina with supermarket just a bit further. Beautiful gardens and a swimming pool which were kept spotless. All these ingredients made a great holiday for us.

Could not fault Simon an Francine and they're colleagues, the guys who picked us up at the airport and dropped us back (Mitch and Ali) were great during the stay
Apartment great good size we were 5 adults so we went out every day if you had kids the pool is great but 10 minutes in taxi to the beach about 10 dollars
Which you have to consider but all in all great base for a stay in Rodney bay
