Value for money stay in Singapore

Dash Living at Mackenzie turns out to be a very good stay, excellent location, about 3 min walk to the Little India MRT, 8 minutes walk to the Tekka Food Center with loads of options to eat. There are also a few eateries right below the stay. Check is with communicating thru an iPad and a DIY check-in service. It was a little confusing at the start, but it was pretty easy.
Room size is small but comfortable for one person. There is a closet, a digital safe, a mini fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, a hair dryer, a bathroom of a good size, TV, and WIFI. Filtered water is self-service, and a tumbler is provided in the room.
There is a social area on Level 5 with some cooking facilities, a laundramat, and a roof-top chill spot.
Loved this stay, price was under RM300 through Trip.com and I think I will be happy to stay here again if I am back to Singapore.

Cosy single is not worth the hassle

I booked the Cosy Single room and unfortunately had to leave after one night due to a severe mould problem. The smell was overwhelming, making the room unlivable. Additionally, there was no hot water, which only added to the discomfort. While the hotel is in a convenient location, there are many nearby options at a similar price point that offer a much better experience. Perhaps other room types are better, as some reviews suggest, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
Despite checking out early due to health concerns from the mould and my asthma triggers, the hotel refused to provide a partial refund, which was disappointing.

Dear guest,
We're extremely sorry for the unpleasant stay you had. As soon as we received your feedback, we quickly sent teams to address the mould and hot water issues. The room has been thoroughly cleaned and the water system fixed.
We understand our initial compensation might not have satisfied you, but we did offer our best solution at that time. Your input is crucial for us to improve.
We hope you'll give us another opportunity. We'll work hard to ensure a much better experience next time.
Apologies again.

Basic and Affordable

Dash Living on Mackenzie is located in the Little India Section of Singapore. It provides basic, affordable accommodations for a visit to the city. There are no personnel on-site, so check-in was a bit tricky via a remote connection on the lobby floor. However, it’s manageable. The MRT Little India station is very close, which makes the hotel quite convenient for travel throughout Singapore by public transit. It is also within walking distance to Singapore Management University, and there are quite a few restaurants, bars, and music venues nearby.

Night noise

Terrible hotel not only because the room are musty and the bathroom is old and dirty. The worst thing is that certain people book this hotel and I don't mean young people but antisocial families. That results in loud shouting through the hotel from 5am in the morning. Because no one is present, it is not very pleasant besides the fact that you no longer sleep. I lasted three of the booked eleven nights.

Fit enough for two & comfy

The room is not that big, shower is OK but the soap is too thick (for me). Check in was smooth with virtual receptionist haha, location is very good near Bugis & Little India. You can find food easily within walking distance. Bed was good, I can sleep well. Overall nice experience
