A Ruby anniversary stay at a lovely hotel.

Great stay from start to finish. We had a very warm welcome from Ani, who greeted us like an old friend she was pleased to see.
Our room was spacious with plenty of storage and all the facilities we needed. Surprisingly, the room was cold but that was sorted once we got to grips with the air con controls.
The hotel breakfast was amazing with a huge selection. The food was also very good quality.
The position of the hotel is ideal for a trip to Singapore, right on Clarke Quay and with an MRT station and bus stop right outside. At night the room was quiet despite its proximity to Clarke Quay.
The room was serviced every day with fresh towels etc. and kept clean and tidy.
At check out, again our goodbye was friendly and we were made to feel they looked forward to seeing us again.
On our wedding anniversary, which occurred during our visit, the staff gave us a card and chocolates which was a lovely surprise.
All the staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful. Special mention though to Ani at reception and the lady and gentleman who worked on our floor who were so lovely.
We would love to stay here again and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Singapore.

Outdoor pool area is just lovely with an adjacent pool bar serving food and drinks
Large enough area and views over the river
Rooms are spacious modern and well maintained

Good location, excellent staff, overpriced drink and food - but that’s Singapore hotels! Lovely people and excellent spot.

Poor Room

Travel agent booked a luxury king. This room is small , has one chair, the fixing nails for the timber fittings are bleeding rust, light fittings are wonky, the TV doesn't fit in its surround and to top it all off the 7th floor view is to the backside of what look likes a residential tower block. I the hallways wall paper is peeling, in the lift tiles are broken. There is no rooftop guest terrace.

Room - King with Balcony view - small balcony but too hot to sit there away . Airconditioning very good and welcoming after walking .
Staff - pleasant and helpful always smiling even in hot weather .
Pool - very clean although could do with more deck lounges especially in the afternoon when people return from outings to relax and chill around pool.
breakfast - very plentiful with every conceivable taste catered for .
Shops - very close although do not open until 10 except cafes for breakfast/coffees which allows you time to eat leisurely breakfast then short walkabout before entering airconditioned shops .
Would definitely stay there again next travelling to/from UK/Australia .
