Friendly good hostel

We were very satisfied from our stay that lasted for one Saturday night, We were the only guests, so we had the shared bathroom for our self. Considering that, the hostel was clean and quite. The private room is large and comfort, the kitchen is well equipped.
The location is a bit hard to find, but the guy in the reception desk help us on the phone and was very friendly and warm. keep in mind it's an up heel walk from the tourist area.

Lovely stay

Idrija is a perfect spot. Specially if you have a car -which the guys from the hostel so friendly helped us to get!- you can get everywhere in Slovenia in maximal two hours, and make sure you have a fresh, not so crowded spot to come back every night. The hostel has everything you need, and the staff put a lot of enthusiasm to make it every day a bit better. Super friendly staff, always willing to help you with recommendations, places to eat, to visit, to do according to your wishes. Nice jobs guys !! Hvala !!!

Great stay !

Me and my friends were looking for a place to stay in Idrija and we heard about this hostel from the tourism office . What a great discovery !
We had cheap beds in a really calm and clean environment . The public areas are nice and clean and the staff very friendly .
Also the hostel is very well located, only 5-10 minutes from the city center by walk . It's also located on a hill from where you can have a really nice point of view on Idrija and the surroundings !
I recommend 100% if you're looking for a place to stay in Idrija .

Stop over in Idrija

We stayed over in Idrija for one night at the Hostel Idrija. It was a brilliant new hostel - lots of space, very clean, great sized rooms, large windows with lots of light, comfy beds. There were very good cooking facilities, freshly grown herbs and veg outside, lovely friendly staff, very close to town centre and other town attractions! All this for a very low price, would love to stay again.

Lovely people, great atmosphere and clean room

I stayed in this hostel for a few nights durring the Idrija Lace Festival. The managers of the hostel are extremely lovely and helful. They gave me great advise, helped me find the easiest way to Ljubljana and on the last day of our stay they even organised a free breakfast for all!
The room was super clean, and it had all the basics that I needed (even a little exchange library for the visitors).
Also, the view is beautiful from the top of the little hill.
I highly recommend it!
