Grand experience

The room was very spacious and well equipped - a large, luxurious bed, ample storing space, a working table, comfortable chair, and mirrors. It has two very useful things rarely found in hotels - ironing table and clothes stand for drying clothes. This came in handy for I stayed 6 days. The wash room was well maintained. The rooms were cleaned whene I wanted.

Its a sound enough hotel for the business traveler but otherwise pretty ordinary. It's in a shabby part of town with no local ameities or attractions worth the bother. The bar is dismal and the restaurant poor. The staff do a good job of making the best of the little they have to wotk with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at Orion City Hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and WiFi worked well. Hot water was plentiful. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our meal in the hotel restaurant. The location was great for us- we were able to walk to the R Premadasa stadium.
