Beautiful tree house hideaway

This place is incredible. It's a quick tuk tuk to Ella's centre but far enough away to feel like you're in the middle of a jungle,very quiet too. Lots of wild life action from the balcony,monkeys, giant squirrels and chipmunks along with many beautiful birds and frogs.
The accomodation is fantastic, good shower, comfy beds and has a very organic feel.
The family hosting are so lovely,nothing is too much trouble for them. We arrived at night in torrential rain and they were there waiting for us with umbrellas. The dad also woke up at 5.30am just to give us water for our walk to little Adams peak!
Everything you may wish to do in Ella is close by.
I'd say it's the best place to stay while there, great breakfast and reasonably priced. Many thanks to you Eco Village and Ruby the dog x

Lovely cabanas in the trees

These cabanas in the trees (built on pillars in the middle of the vegetation), looking like little chalets, are very well designed and built and the owner is very sympathetic and thoughtful. The breakfast is copious and good. The road that brought to the cabanas is rather narrow and bumpy, but according to what I saw, it is quite usual in Sri Lanka.
