Good memories of the seronera wildlife Lodge and the great serengeti National Park
I visited this long-time and historic chains.of hotel in the Serengeti. Today, I'm have to tell you that there have been a lot of improvements
We all know these hotels faced very stiff and difficult management mantanances and quality service delivery .Having stayed here, i have seen some come back
Rooms were clean, hotshowers and shampoos, and clean bedsheets well done
Still some broken stuff, eg, walking board and outside toilet being dark with no lights knowing that it is the bush one can encounter wild animals which are dangerous inside the dark toilet especially seronera hope this can be maintained and avoid unnecessary bad memories
The good side of this hotel is the great location and views of the great serengeti plains, sunset, sunrises,
Animals feeding just outside your window both at day and night, this makes beautiful memories and feel of the true nature.
Above all, breakfast is SUPER nice to start your day
I enjoyed my stay here that also brought back my memories having visited these properties back in the days as a school pupil and without a stay thinking it wasn't possible for me, today staying here eating and drinking as a renowned credible Tour operator in Tanzania and around the globe.

Unfortunately, our experience with this place started off as a nightmare. We emailed them more than 45 days in advance to confirm payment of the park fees for two people and received no response. As our arrival date got closer, we had to repeatedly email and call just to get basic information.When we tried to confirm airport pickup, the staff became overly aggressive about selling us their game drive package. We clearly explained that we already had some activities booked and would decide after arriving, but they refused to budge. It felt as though if we didn’t book their game drive, we would not receive airport transportation. Their main focus seemed to be getting money rather than providing service.
We were repeatedly told that card payments “didn’t work” and that only cash was accepted, which raised serious concerns. We were nearly charged for the same things twice, so please be very careful. The main individuals involved in these issues were Emmanuel and Patrick. I was forced to wire money for park fees, transportation, and airport pickup. Despite tipping, the service noticeably declined after our stay, especially when it came to attitudes around tips.
On a positive note, the manager, Ajy, was very helpful. When I called him about an hour before landing, he stepped in and ensured we at least had transportation to the hotel, which we truly appreciated. The food was good, and the chef was very accommodating with my husband’s dietary preferences.

Tired hotel needs upgrading
The rooms are nothing like the pictures on the website. The vast majority of rooms are small, barely even big enough for a queen size bed. The furnishings, fixtures and appliances are outdated. I think the drapes are original to the building which is at least 70 years old. The bathtub enamel is chipped and the water pressure is really weak. Some of the migration camps are much nicer.

Amazing hospitality
