VISIT TO ALAMEDA AND THE INN OF JOSE MARIA EL TEMPRANILLO

Hello, friends: Today we were able to share the visit to Alameda. Before lunch we have visited, in company with Paco Padiila, the Church Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the Tomb of José María El Tempranillo, the Ethnographic Museum and the Roman Baths.
Afterwards we went to the Posada de José María El Tempranillo where Paco offered us a spectacular lunch, watered with local wine. Very well served by Fran (son of Paco and Sofia) and the rest of the waitresses, with Paco and Sofia as hosts.
A very pleasant atmosphere, in a dining room with the heat that gave off the fireplace.
Excellent lunch with typical dishes such as crumbs bandoliers and rice bandolier ribs. For dessert a rich bacon from heaven with ricotta chantilli.
You also have rooms, function rooms and a swimming pool for summer.
We will certainly repeat the experience and encourage you to enjoy it.

A magnificent dinner set in the time of bandits

We went to dinner with some friends and it seemed like a magical place, as if we had suddenly moved to the 19th century, to the time of bandits. Everything is set around the figure of the famous José María El Tenpranillo, with paintings and engravings around his figure. After dinner, Paco, the owner, offered us a tour of the rooms and described the furniture and objects that adorn the walls of this rustic place with so much history. He even showed us a room full of rural charm. Sleeping in it will surely transport you to that time of banditry. At dinner we highlight the excellent varied croquettes (choco in its ink, boletus and spinach and goat cheese), the minced soup, the oriental-style vegetable stir-fry and the baked cod. We had a very rewarding experience, especially because of the friendliness of the staff.

Lovely spot

Called in for a drink while visiting the area. It was a dark drizzly January day and the front bar was really cozy with a stove. I imagine this place would be great in the summer and we plan to go back to enjoy the pool and sunday lunch. Drinks were a fair price and they even had zero alcohol beer

Very pleasant

Local friends brought us here for a couple of drinks on an afternoon In February. Very nice place, really authentic old building. We sat out in the walled area at the front of the building in the sun. Coming from Ireland we found it beautiful weather but we were reminded it is winter in Spain as there was a real fire lit in the bar! Very good service and facilities. Our stars review is based only on drinks and atmosphere as we didn't stay in the hotel.
