Nice and good breakfast

Good location for hiking in the area, clean room and very good breakfast, very attentive Ferran, recommended us an excursion to the pond of Malniu and it was worth it.
I would recommend an automatic light at the entrance door for the night.

Great stay in beautiful surroundings

We were on a on a birding trip and had one night stay at Cal Sams. Ferran made us all welcome and I loved the style of the building and rooms. The room was very comfortable with lots of hot water. We went to a nearby down for a meal but had breakfast there - a nice selection cheese, tomotoes, meats etc. Had a couple of shorts walks down to the stream and around, the views of the countryside were great and treated to some great wildlife such as Beech Martin and Roe Deer. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

A bit too rustic

First night of a birding holiday brought us to Cal Sams for 2 nights
Facilities were somewhat lacking, one small bar of soap between 2 people over two nights and the access and egress to the shower facility was challenging.
The room was warm and windows were left open but thankfully we weren't savaged by insects
Breakfast was lovely
The owners brother who provided us with a packed lunch as well as breakfast was a gem
The B&B wasn't really for us but I'm sure hardened hikers will be more forgiving

Mucho cuídado

Ayer día 19-8-22 sobre las 16:30 reservé 2 habitaciones para 5 personas. para los días 24 y 25 de agosto. Avise a los que ibamos a ir que ya había hecho la reserva. Uno de ellos me llamó a las 22:00 indicandome que había dado positivo en Covid. A las 23:30 cancelé la reserva debido a la situación ocurrida. Hoy por la mañana llamo a Cal Sams para explicarles la situción. El responsable Sr. Ferrán me indica que no me devuelven el dinero y que vayamos con mascarilla. ¿Estas son las medidas de seguridad que toman en esta casa rural?. De juzgado de guardia. Cuídado si tenéis pensado ir. A lo mejor os podéis encontrar con algún positivo alojad@ y cruzaros con él /ella, en el desayuno (creo que para desayunar, has de quitarte la mascarilla). Cada día me sorprendo más del grado de usureria al que estamos llegando. Muy bien Sr. Ferrán, muy bien.

Regalo Dakota box

Hemos pasado un finde tranquilo, gracias a Dakota Box. Hemos descubierto Olopte y Cal Sams. Los propietarios son muy atentos, nos hemos sentido como en casa. Hemos podido escuchar la tranquilidad de la zona. El desayuno muy bueno.
