Beautiful island and a wonderful place to stay!

We were recommended Mookies by friends who had stayed previously and said it was their favourite place to stay. We were so glad we took their advice, we are Mookies converts and will definitely be back! Wan co-ordinates everything beautifully including arranging transport, recommending places to go and being the general fixer of everything. But all the Mookies team, without exception, are great. They all seem very happy and this helps create the lovely relaxed atmosphere of the place.
Our room appeared brand new with excellent aircon and really comfortable beds. A nice balcony to sit for an evening drink and the usual fridge/kettle/coffee amenities provided. The aircon was great and silent at night. Housekeeping did a perfect clean every day.
Mookies also has reasonably priced food and drinks with generous portions of well cooked Western and Thai staples. The included breakfast choices were more than enough and the fruit platters were divine!
We love the location, 10 minutes in a taxi bike from the pier, and 10 minutes walk to Farang Beach where you can get a lounger for the day simply by buying anything at any of the eating stalls. Alternatively 50B will get you anywhere on Mook in a taxi bike. We hired motorbikes from Mookies for the day, you can really see everything in half a day. This was very straightforward and reasonably priced. I’d recommend doing this if you are a confident motorbike rider.
We really loved Koh Mook and absolutely adored Mookies. Thanks Wan, really appreciate the effort you and your team have put into making Mookies so special. Wecan’t wait to see you again!

Resort we might come back to

Very nice bungalow, we chose the lux rooms, brand new and nice. Quiet area, next to jungle with many birds, butterflies and monkeys. Own restaurant at the resort, food was quite bland but nice staff. Not far to get down to the village for another dinner option, the moped taxi cost only 50 bath / person. About 500 meters to walk to the beach, it is very good with both sun loungers and several eateries.

The manageress leads a great team from the front. Her attention to detail, proactive approach, smile and friendliness are outstanding.
The bungalow was quaint, soon got used to no tv and the often cold shower became welcome in the extreme heat.
The mattress was superb and the bed linen top quality.
The restaurant serves good quality fresh food.
An enjoyable, peaceful stay in a clean safe environment

Simple but good

Very nice little facility, delicious breakfast and dinner, very nice and helpful staff who organized various trips and transfers for me - everything went perfectly. The bungalows are simple but functional. I would book the Mookies again.

Amazing and very highly recommend you try it

Amazing stay with a wonderful host. Only there for one night sadly but highly recommend. We stayed in the family bungalow which was beautiful and spacious. Had a very tasty lunch in the restaurant and breakfast was plentiful and good choice. Five minute walk to the beautiful beach. Would definitely return.
