Great value

Stayed two nights at Best Beach Bungalow. It is of course not a five star resort but worth every baht ! Clean room with aircon, right between the beach and main street but quiet during the night.
Cosy beach bar, friendly staff, highly recommended for a budget-stay on Chaweng beach.

Not safe do not stay here

This is the most corrupt business ever I’ve recently stayed here with my mate another lady. I paid the first day the next day the hotel owner a rude aggressive woman came kicking off in the morning demanding we paid again
She threatened us with the police telling us she and her family are in the mafia
Her son kicked off with me tried to hit me.
She took the key deposit of us 1000 bht for no reason. The room aircon was broken and she breeds chickens but most of all we were so scared here

Great location, bad services, smelly hotel no

We stayed in this hotel for a week (100 BTT for a night for AC room). The room service did not appear for a whole week, the place is smelly, What is good, is that owner of the place runs motorbike rentals so we got a bike for a week for a reasonable price. The location is awesome its right next to beach and close to city center :)

Great location but bad service

I went to koh samui and stayed for 4 days at best beach. After we went to sleep 1 night at the Angton marine park in a tent (which is awesome). Then we wanted to go back to best beach and one of the owners started pretty unfear about the price so we had to pay more. We still agreed but later she changed her mind and wanted us to stay 2 nights. Then an argument began and after we needed to pack our stuff and go somewere else...

Centrally located and just amazing!

Can't beat the location or the price. We had the room closest to the beach and it was about a 20m walk to the ocean! The price was pretty cheap considering where you are located along the Main Street of Chewang beach. You are right in the middle; about one block from the mall/Starbucks... Which I would say is the middle. Room was big, beds decent, great shower pressure and heat, and the bathroom is a good size.
The ladies that run it are awesome. Speak great English and run a nice little restaurant that overlooks the beach. The little beach bar is really nice and attracts a decent crowd during the day and also at night. They also have a booking office closer to the Main Street entrance and you can book ferry tickets and tours there.
The only downfall is that the wifi doesn't work in your room but it works great in the restaurant and around the bar on the beach. Great to wake up, have a coffee and get caught up. Also the beach is great for early morning walks or runs.
You are located right in the action of Chewang and there is no shortage of activities close to the hotel. The great thing is that you are far enough off of the Main Street towards the beach that there is not any noise.
Highly recommend this place while in Chewang area.
