Eurasia Hotel peaceful inside of Chiang Mai
Peacefull in the centre of Chiang Mai. From hotel to centre 30 min walk, with tuk-tuk 100 bht. Hotel with beautiful garden and many large trees, some exotic and making excellent shade, Clean and large room with balcony, good bed and mattress, fridge, coffee, tea, kettle. Toilet could be cleaner. Friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant, but for the price charged it's not worth it, very small portions and cuisine nothing special.

Hot Water Issues & Sinus Infections
Pros
- Decent complimentary breakfast with very pleasant outdoor dining area by pool
- Very spacious bedrooms and closets
Cons
- Hard beds & pillows, no fluff or cushion :(
- Outlets are sideways which makes it hard to plug in a Mac charger or even a Universal Plug Adapter. Mine kept falling out from the weight.
- Poor water pressure with VERY inconsistent hot/warm temperature. They have instructions on how to use their showers, but my shower was definitely broken. The water would not stay hot at all. I actually got in the shower and got wet when the hot water completely went out and was shivering badly from head to toe after a day of visiting temples, etc. I was so exhausted and tired I was crying and my tour guide had to let me use his bathroom. The water in his was almost scalding hot, so I had to use a hand towel as a buffer and then manually wring the hot water on myself. It was a whole process. Sigh...
- Biggest issue at this hotel in the bathrooms was also MOLD. Multiple people in my group said their tubs were very gross and I saw a few black marks on my shower tiles that wouldn't come off. It should also be noted that over 8 people in our group plus myself now have sinus infections; our symptoms all begin around when we stayed here. I am positive that we got them at this hotel due to the mold and lack of hot water.

Revamp, Tired , lack of imagination in the restaurant but value for money good.
Stayed at the hotel 8th to 19thSept. both cottage & hotel. The whole hotel had a look of lost interest & tiredness, example the restaurant advertised promotion was a cheeseburger. boring menu, no speciality of the day, hence I saw few people using the restaurant. breakfast had been O.K if included in package, pricey if not. It was as if interest and present-day needs had been left behind. There were no shops in walking distance, fine not the hotels' fault, but instead of a small shop facility around the reception, as enough space, A small cabinet, with a few crisps and not much else. the whole place could have done with a lick of paint. Plus, the pool arrear lack of facilities to sun bath, (four wooden sunbeds in the shade no cushions on.) Positive aspect, rooms in hotel very pleasant roomy & including a comfortable bed, cleaned every day. The chalets could be fab but need some tender loving care and cut back all the shrubbery it is taking over the place. On the whole good value for money, maybe these are the reasons stated why it is, but it could be brilliant with thought and imagination, someone needs to get hold of it & give it a good shaking.

Scammed by hotel!
SCAM ALERT! DO NOT STAY HERE. We booked the Cottage Garden Suite, which looks gorgeous in the photos with granite tub and nice patio deck. When we arrived, there was some trouble finding our booking. They asked to see our reservation and I showed the email from Expedia, which only read “1 room” not the type. When I pulled up the listing of the Cottage Garden Suite, they said that room was booked (they only have one), so they’d put us in the Cottage Room. This room was not only cheaper than what we paid for but DISGUSTING. Black mold, loud machine sounds, bugs and webs everywhere and NOTHING like the pictures online. We didn’t want to stay there and called Expedia to see about a refund but they said it was up to the hotel. I asked Expedia for an itemized receipt to show that I paid for the Cottage Garden Suite, but they couldn’t provide that either. Feeling stuck, we asked hotel if there were any other rooms so they moved us to the Eurasia Suite, which is even cheaper (half the price) of the room we originally booked. This room was cleaner, but again not what we booked. We held onto hope that Expedia would refund us the difference and over the course of a week we had four long phone calls with them and email exchanges where we were told again and again it was up to the hotel to refund us. They would not. Not only did we lose money by paying for a room they gave away, the hotel has no gym as advertised and food is terrible. Check your receipts from expedia or get scammed!
