Lovely stay for 3 nights
I firstly would like to recommend this accommodation, the owner is very reliable & flexible. Me and my partner arrived very late well after check-inn time unfortunately due to the delays of the sleeper coach arriving into chiang mai. She allowed us to check in even after and if we needed to contact her then to call her. The room was very clean , just wanted you needed after a full day of travelling. The owner spoke very well English as did her family which was very helpful and made our stay even better.

BADLY RUN HOSTEL / BED BUGS / UNSAFE
WORST HOSTEL EXPERIENCE EVER! STAY AWAY!!! Bedbugs / Drug addicts / Badly run hostel!!
I have travelled too and from countries my whole life. Stayed in probably 100+ hostels. THIS ONE IS THE WORSE PLACE IVE STAYED IN EVERYWAY!
I'll start with the check in process. It's non existent. Staff aren't there 95% of the time. Just a QR code and every form key left on the side Safe, hey?
The owner June replies on WhatsApp if she's available, at my time of stay she was on holiday, so that's priority in this line of business.
I was met by a lady who gave me a room key and I went upstairs. I said once I've checked room I'll extend straight away for 1 week as I don't want to hostel hop.
I checked the room briefly and paid upfront 1 week.
Next minute I'm contacted by the owner and told I pay extra for Songkran, also my room is extra aswell because I paid for fan. This was LIE No1 (there's plenty more of these)
I discussed this increase and was happy and said sorry but I have it shown on the apps at this price so that's what I'm paying. She blamed the apps, not herself for trying to blag more money off a traveller. Also shows with Aircon but she takes the remote away
I ended up paying the extra.
NOW THE FUN BUT. that evening a random drug addict who seemed to be homeless decided to come into the dorm and take a bunk above mine. He started sniffing drugs.
I contacted the owner immediately and said for her to sort this problem out. SHe said he'd late booked and he was supposed to be there. Lovely dedication to your own business as he definitely wasn't supposed to be there. She sent someone over and it took this young lad a while to get the guy out. LIE No2 she said police were called he was gone. In the morning the door wide open and the guy was sitting outside the hostel. Great.
BED BUGS - The dorm was riddled with them. I was bitten on the forehead which blew up massively because the bedbug was huge!
Me and two other people left immediately that morning. The owner said don't leave review it's busy next week! I'm sorry but If you constantly LIE to people, don't take ownership for the problems and ACTUALLY run your hostel (be there for your guests) then it's fair for other travellers to know what to expect.
Me and the other 2 people are forced to pay for washing of clothes and we have to plastic bag out belongings for 1 week in the sun because of this situation. The owner is aware of this - Her response was YOU BROUGHT THEM HERE.

Nice place
Good for relaxing to stay here around old city.....
Near food, bars, temples, walking street, archaeological sites, and many more.....
Suitable for stays of 1 day to a week or more.....

Perfect place
We booked a private room with private bathroom and it was absolutely without problems. The room is clean with really comfortable bed. Hostel is perfectly located - near old town, bazaar, night life and on the street is also small market with cheap and local food. Owner of the hostel was always helpful.

Lovely owner
I had a great time here . I felt like I was home. The owner is super sweet and she always provided help when it was needed, shppping , tours etc. I studied next door and it was very convenient and clean.
