We came here to visit the trade fair.

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The service is very good. Especially the lady who makes omelets for breakfast, your omelets were legendary. Thank you so much for everything.

⭐️1/5 — “Five Star in Name Only”

If you’re considering the Renex Hotel based on its five-star rating, please save yourself the disappointment and read this first.
A five-star experience should deliver on the basics: clean and well-maintained rooms, a quality breakfast spread, attentive service, and a comfortable atmosphere. The Renex falls short on every single one of these.
Service was the most frustrating aspect of our stay. On multiple occasions when calling reception for assistance, I was told to call back in 10–15 minutes as staff were on their break. In what five-star hotel does a guest get asked to wait because the front desk is unavailable? The final straw came when I called to report a noisy gathering in the corridor at 9:30pm. The response? The manager wouldn’t be available for another 1–2 hours, and I was welcome to either wait or raise it the following morning. No apology, no attempt to help, no sense of urgency whatsoever. Completely unacceptable.
Noise levels made for a genuinely miserable night’s sleep. The walls are paper-thin and the doors slam loudly — you hear every single one throughout the night. This isn’t a minor inconvenience; it’s a fundamental failure for any hotel, let alone one claiming five stars.
The gym doesn’t open until 9am, which is simply impractical for guests with morning schedules or early commitments.
Breakfast and facilities did not come close to what a five-star classification would lead you to expect.
I rarely leave reviews, but I felt a genuine responsibility to warn other travellers. The five-star label here is misleading at best. Avoid.
