Good budget accommodation

A great hotel for your money in the historical centre of Istanbul! Its main advantage is the ideal location: the main attractions are within walking distance, and within walking distance there are public transport stops to easily reach anywhere in the city. Buy a transport card right at the airport, it will save you money. The road to the hotel by public transport is not difficult (it takes about 1.5h): first on the M4, then transfer to Marmaray, and from the stop only a little on foot. The reception staff are always friendly, polite and willing to help. Breakfasts, though fairly monotonous, were satisfying and there was always a choice. For that price, you shouldn't expect a posh buffet. The economy room is compact, but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is air conditioning, hairdryer, very good and stable WiFi and decent water pressure in the shower. However, it is worth noting that in this category there is no safe and kettle, they are available in other room types. The view from the window overlooks the courtyard, the window itself is small, but for those who spend time away from the room, that is not a problem. The surroundings are great: plenty of cafes and restaurants for every taste, as well as Migros, McDonald’s and Starbucks, you’re not going to stay hungry.
However, as with many hotels in this class, soundproofing is not ideal. If you're sleepy, bring earplugs. There are several mosques nearby, so sounds can be heard in the early morning. This is certainly not a hotel flaw, but a local feature, but noise-sensitive guests should keep this in mind.

Terrible

Cleanliness non-existent throughout the stay of 5 days. Never cleaned the bathroom even simply swept the room, never changed the sheets and plenty of old dust everywhere.

Room in old area.

Very clean, sheets and white towels with good aroma. That's the first thing I look at in a hotel.
Generous hot and cold breakfast. I was surprised because the space is small but they are organized to have variety of dishes, for example they have 3 types of eggs : scrambled, cooked and dressed with typical spices.
The room is very small, but I knew it when I booked. Hence the price.
It's 5 minutes from the tram.
The receptionists are friendly, but don't wait for them to understand you in Spanish.
I recommend it 100% quality/price.

Place full of potential

I stayed 2 days in this hotel on a leisure trip. The positives are the location, the hotel is in the central area of Istanbul close to all the attractions, the room is clean and the breakfast is really rich. The downside is that the structure is very dated and it would take very little to have a more than discreet hotel. Friendly staff.
