Great disappointment and very poor service

We arrived Friday night around 10.00. 22 and remained outside the barrier until the morning. To our great disappointment we discovered on Saturday that the reception was completely closed throughout the Easter weekend.
We tried repeatedly to contact their central reception by phone, but were only met by an answering machine. It is both surprising and unacceptable that you cannot enter a campsite that you booked and paid for two months in advance.
There were hardly any guests in the area, but we finally managed to find a person who referred us to a kind of long-term resident (“dauerguest”) who acted as caretaker. This shows very poor planning and communication from the campsite.
To also keep both reception and store closed while there are guests on site – while preventing new guests from entering – is completely incomprehensible.
The campsite itself is also in poor condition. The flags are broken (this was before the storm), the toilets consist of a temporary barracks and the service building offers very limited facilities.
The area itself is nice and worth a visit, but the campsite unfortunately does not live up to expectations and feels very neglected.

Not recommended

One of the worst parking spaces we have been to. The former paved parking lot was only moderately demarcated.
There is no distance from the road. Cars drive past your table at a distance of less than 1 m. Beachgoers walk back and forth across the parking space in moderate numbers.
The price is high despite the circumstances.
To visit Gothenburg, there are other options.

Unfortunate experience

We got a seat on the other side of the road for the reception area. Tent space with a lot of gravel. Shower and do in a kind of cart, where it was dirty and there was a lack of paper.
We had paid 230kr to choose the seat ourselves, but this was booked away when we arrived. Thus we were placed in another place, without getting the money back.
Nice area else, with minigolf and beach. But we may choose another camping next time due to service.

Great campsite

The campsite is located 25 minutes from the center of Gothenburg and had a convenient location for us who were going on by ferry to Denmark. The cabin had ok standard although there was a bracket. It was clean and nice. The playground was a little tired. Good service. Wouldn't spend the whole vacation here, but ok for one night.

Extremely worn down and poorly maintained

We were initially assigned a mobile home that was simply unacceptable. It was dirty to a level where we asked to be moved the following day. The staff accommodated our request and the second unit was better, but still well below an acceptable standard.
The refrigerator contained mold, there were grease stains on the blinds in both the kitchen and bathroom, cutlery and cookware were greasy, there were stains on the walls, and several curtains were damaged or torn.
Apart from the reception building and the recently renovated service facilities, the campsite appeared neglected and in serious need of maintenance. It is difficult to understand what the 1,200 SEK cleaning fee covers, as the level of cleanliness did not reflect that charge.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the location is convenient if you plan to visit the nearby beach.
Unfortunately, the condition of the accommodation overshadows those positives. Based on this experience, I would not consider staying here again
