A Pearl! This is how a hotel stay should feel

Gibsons Hotell is a really cozy place where you feel welcome from the moment you step in. The staff is smiling, helpful, making the stay extra pleasant. The rooms are clean, neat and comfortable, and you notice clearly that something is done out of the details and everything appears in good taste and fine materials.
The location is also a big plus — it is easy to get around and the area around the hotel is both quiet and the Industrial section is very charming and better than expected. Nice area for walks with the dog. Breakfast is delicious and fresh, and there is something for everyone. There are also several gluten-free options.
Nice one can come from Denmark with a small dog and just feel welcome. I would love to come back and can highly recommend Gibsons Hotell to others who want a relaxed and friendly stay.

The hotel itself was very nice, clean, good beds, all necessary amenities (including a fridge and a freezer, and coffee station).
However, we never received the check in code by email, so we tried calling normal number, but the phone menu was only in Swedish with several steps, so we wrote an email. After no response in hours, we called the “emergency contact number” and then a friendly employee sent us the code via email. Also as some others have mentioned, there’s a bunch of codes for different doors, and they can be confusing at first, but not impossible. Breakfast was very nice, also gluten free and lactose free and vegan alternatives. If coming by car, keep in mind that all parking around are paid even throughout the night, although they have different rates (can by paid by EasyPark).

Very basalt

The hotel as such was quite ok. We stayed in the dog room and appreciated that the dog had its own sleeping area, bowls and a bag of treats.
What did pull down the grade was the breakfast. Yogurt and sandwiches. Nothing beyond what you eat at home. Small selection. No scrambled eggs or other hot options.

This is an excellent boutique hotel outside of Gothenburg in Jonsered. It was quiet, clean, extremely comfortable and exactly what I was expecting. The young lady that took care of breakfast service was lovely. I will stay there again!

Lovely stay for a Christmas market weekend with my partner. Staff was lovely and friendly! Everything was very clean. Easy to get to Gothenburg too which is great. She we stayed, they had a small Christmas market right outside the hotel. Breakfast was good too and overall. Really good value for money.
