Very nice place to stay close to the forest near the center of Leksand

I spent 3 nights in a nice affordable room in the building Målargården in late February. It's a lovely and quite place close near the river and the forest, but still not too far away from the center of Leksand. My room had a private bathroom with toilet and shower and there's a common area with kitchen and dining room in the building.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I'd definitely choose this place again.

Basic but functional

This felt like a school camp. Linoleum floors, basic furniture and fittings, uncomfortable chairs, no tv. It did on the other hand, have comfortable beds with good bedding, good hot water and water pressure. It was quiet and in a good location on the lake and close to town. Morning breakfast was a little boring with no hot option and was nothing special but kept well stocked by the excellent staff. We only needed a couple of nights as we were passing through which was fine but I don’t think we’d want to spend a week here.

Nice property located at beautiful location

We stayed in the property for 3 nights. We had a room with private bathroom in one of the several houses in property. The house had a shared kitchen which was very helpful as we were traveling with a 2 year old.
The place was very calm and nice. Everything was super clean and also free parking just besides the house which made it super convenient.

Bra läge - hyfsat prisvärt

Fräsch nybyggd lägenhet, även om det märks att det är för studenter (enkelsängar, ingen TV) och inte primärt som semester-hotell. Väldigt basic frukost som blev ännu torftigare när våffeljärnet gick sönder, men gott varmt bröd.
Bra med gratis parkering och mycket bra med laddplats för elbil.

Zwei Nächte

Wir waren mit Freunden hier.
Es war OK für die zwei mal die wir
hier geschlafen haben.
Die Zimmer sind gross und sauber
Aber kein Fernseher und nur sehr wenig W Lane Empfang.
Alles erinnert ein wenig an Studenten Unterkunft aber das ist es auch.
Das Frühstück ist ausreichend aber nur kalt keine warmen Speisen.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Für den Preis ist zu wenig Komfort hier.
