Location, location, location! Loved how centrally located the hotel was. Parking was convenient and a short 5 minute walk to the parking garage. Hotel guests did not get a discount though, so figure in your parking costs. Rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. We did loose our electricity in our room one night, but staff went out of their way to try to fix it, which was unsuccessful and there were no open rooms. They were able to change our room for the next night. Except for that issue, we would stay again.

Helpful Staff
Perfect Location and everything is at a walking distance from the hotel. Train station and old town are within walking distance. Best was the front desk staff. Lady at the staff, I wish I remembered her name, was the best!!! She was very welcoming at the time of checkin. She went above and beyond to help us coordinate with the local restaurant where we had left our sunglasses previous night. I would recommend this place to anyone not because of location but because of the great staff!!!

Location close to everything
If they resolve the issues with the air conditioning and room soundproofing, it is a good hotel with a very good location in the center of Bern.

Disappointing stay
Unfortunately, our experience wasn't all that great. First off, the AC wasn't working very much and so, it was 27-28 degrees in our room... unbearable at night. Service was okay, but nothing to write home about. Finally, breakfast options and overall quality were lacking.

Shower and electricity need improvement
We stayed as a group of 4, 2 adults and 2 children, for 2 nights. The room was spacious but unfortunately the bathroom had a floor-level shower without an enclosure, only a curtain, so the bathroom was unusable after showering. Another negative note is that during our stay we were left without electricity a good 5-6 times. We were told the first time that it was due to our chargers without an adapter; from the second time on, with the adapter, the problem kept repeating itself...
For the rest, the staff was kind, the breakfast was good, and there was great attention to gluten-free options.
