We would gladly return when we are in the area.

As part of a cycling trip, we stayed multiple times at Hotel Hubertus.
It has an excellent location directly on the Rhone Valley bike path and right by the still young Rhone, more of a stream than a river here. We occupied a small suite.
Beds are excellent. Small espresso machine. There is a small wellness area and an indoor pool with a sunbathing area outside, as well as a jacuzzi. Everything is well maintained.
The couple that runs the house is super friendly and helpful.
However, the excellent kitchen is at the very top. One could look forward to the diner every day. Very good selection of wines and truly excellent service.
Good opportunity to store and charge the e-bikes.
An outstanding starting point for both the incredibly beautiful Rhone Valley bike path downhill and for sporty nature lovers in the other direction, up the Furka or Grimsel Pass - here, of course, be cautious of traffic, especially during the summer peak season.

Very nice hotel with great staff!

If you have booked in this hotel, you should make sure you stay in the main house of the hotel. The rooms here are spacious, modern and very well equipped. In the neighboring house the rooms are rather quaint;-)
The staff and owners really do everything to make your stay as nice and comfortable as possible. You can also enjoy excellent food in the on-site restaurant. It was an all-round successful visit!

New team, some areas for improvement

We are former Hubertus customers and it is obviously difficult to race with the former managers.
The kitchen is no longer at the previous level but it is correct.
3 suggestions:
- light the fire in the fireplace
- remove ice in front of the hotel
- repaint the exterior door of the outbuilding.
We will come back anyway because the hotel is well placed and pleasant

Broken deer horns.......

Hubertus has evolved compared to previous years. Unfortunately not in a good way. The welcome is warm but the standard no longer corresponds to a 4 star: many small details unsatisfactory for this class! New hoteliers should be given a chance to get their hands on this beautiful property and improve the amenities, lobby atmosphere and meals, especially the morning buffet.
