Very pleasant central hotel for a short stay in St. Gallen

The small hotel directly in the old town of St. Gallen has offered us everything we wanted: friendly welcome, a very pretty, bright room, tastefully decorated, good beds, bright bathroom with shower and an excellent breakfast offer in pleasant breakfast room. Would definitely choose the Hotel Vadian again during another stay in St. Gallen.

Vadian: a great hotel.

A somewhat small room but big enough and the modest price made that very acceptable. Furthermore, everything really extremely enjoyable: friendly staff, delicious rich breakfast, room, sanitary facilities, bed linen fresh and cared for. And that in the middle of the old (car-free!) city, and for a - see above - very reasonable price.

Great location

Great location in the heart of the old town, close to the Abbey and 10 minutes walk from the train station, very welcome, the room is simple but very nice and very clean, the bedding is impeccable. We did not have breakfast. A great discovery.

A delightful choice in St. Gallen

Delightful/romantic location in the old city section right next to the Abbey church and library. Beautiful, spacious rooms, well equipped and very comfortable. Excellent reception staff. Lockers available for luggage storage, although a few more would be ideal (and you need 2 CHF coins to operate).

Nice place, great healthy breakfast, simple room

I liked here very much mainly because their room was beautiful, colours!, and because the breakfast was so nice- mainly fruits! but the room was very simple and could have an iron or a kettle or few things like this to help during the stay
