I chose this hotel because it is a ten-minute walk from Chengde station (and a twenty-minute drive from Chengdenan station). There are small shops nearby and some malls across the river. You can walk to the summer mountain resort in about 35 minutes.
My room was clean and quiet, and the reception staff were polite.
