Fudi Hotel Shanghai - highly recommended
I felt I needed to write a review about the Fudi Hotel in Shanghai because there is very little written about it in the Western travel sites. This is an excellent hotel for foreign travelers and a lovely home to stay while in Shanghai. It is close to the underground Metro so you can go everywhere from here.
The breakfast was special with plenty on offer from the buffet but also the option of a hot meal (noodles or wontons etc) prepared by the chef onsite.
The rooms are excellent and very clean with modern facilities.
There is no elevator for the rooms in the main part, so you need to carry your own bags up stairs, which is no problem if you are able to do so. There are rooms at reception level also for those who prefer not to climb the stairs.
I hope to stay here again in the near future

I am very satisfy with my stay at fudi hotel during my shanghai trip.
Hotel loactions is quite near to many tourist attractions. And close to metro line.
Overall the room is well maintain and clean.
Breakfast at hotel is great and many variety. And one thing that I am very surprise that, hotel staff able to remember exactly what tea that I am enjoy. She able to prepare the tea and send it to my table without the need for me to ask from her.
Hotel staff is very attentive and friendly.
Tried to use meituan to purchase the food and groceries, it works! Item were delivery by robot from front counter to your room. It is awesome! I would give 10/10.
I would highly recommend this hotel to my relatives and friends.
My personal appreciation to 小王and小朱for their great service.

Quite the hidden little gem and at a great price. I got the room with a terrace, lovely.
All that you need. Comfy bed, working shower and above all quiet. Surprising given its location near a busy road. However, it is set back a bit and not on the side of the street.
Staff were friendly and helpful. An absolute trouble free, enjoyable experience. Thank you very much. Hope to see you again in the future

Housekeepimg not doing a good job. My sheets were never changed, hair on floor in bathroom not cleaned for 3 days First night i waa given a room with windows higher than my 1.7 metre height... Like a prison cell. Then i waa charged 60 yuan to move to a room with proper window. I will not come back.... Though the night shift receptionist was nice and polite. Hotel doesnt provide the usual toiletries.

Very good hotel, design a bit old but they have whatever we need. We stayed 5 nightsVery close to Tianzifang by walking. Thank you to Ms.Chen in bfast restaurant, she is very helpful and serve us very well and very thoughtful . Also want to thank you a lady in the resesptionis who wear glasses. She is very kind to help to book food online and help to deliver to my father in law room. Thank you
