Poor. Won't be back.

Site falsely advertised facilities with breakfast & restaurant but they haven't been available for over a year. Price not suitable for what there is as is so basic. In room there was no bowls/cutlery. Dirty fan.

A real adventure !

We were stranded in Ayr having to park our motorhome due to the rain and flooding . Stayed in this lovely place for 4 nights which was so lovely met such lovely people stranded there too
Jay and family are the loveliest people so helpful and kind lovely food at the buffet and Ayr a lovely place . We will never forget our time there travelling from Northern Ireland first time in Australia first time seeing first hand the power of Mother Nature and the wet season at its best !After 4 nights we had to drive back to Brisbane to leave motorhome back sadly didn't make it to Townsville or Cairns due to the weather

Beware - the place might look clean at first glance but it isn’t, there was a cockroach the size of a finger in the bathroom. Also, on its website and own welcome booklet, it says reception closes at 9pm but it actually closes at 8pm. I called ahead at 6pm to inform them I’ll be checking in at 8:30pm, but they said “oh we close at 8pm”. Bad service and poor quality. Would never stay again.
The owner Jay was defensive and said “we close at 8pm on Sundays”, even after I showed them their own welcome book said 9pm. He was also nonchalant about the cockroach, saying there were none in other rooms. No thought of customer experience - I specifically booked this place due to their 9pm check in, especially as a solo female traveller. Instead I had to find my own way and the overall experience was horrible. Jay did not find any way to resolve this. Also, I got a random knock on the door at 11pm - some random guy asking for a lighter. Would avoid this place at all costs.
