Two night stay in King room. Description and photos on hotels.com need updating as room does not have separate dining table and 2 chairs. Room very clean. Noise transmission from next door. Squeaky bathroom door. Not enough space for 2 people to sit at table which has microwave and other stuff on it. Only one chair. No where to put things except on the floor. Bed comfortable. Fridge is for drinks and not cool enough for food ( apparently only cools to 20 deg below the ambient room temperature). Went back and forth to communal room kitchen fridgand freezer instead. Wifi fine.

Noisy and overpriced

Pretty expensive for basic accommodation. Beds were comfortable and linen was nice. Most of the rooms were being used by tradies who were up at 5am making noise outside the room. The noise from the main road, River street, is next level and even earplugs can’t beat the sound of traffic. Won’t be staying again

For my needs, faultless

Located within walking distance of main business area with an abundance of cafes, restaurants etc. On entering the U-shaped compound there is an immediate sense of calm and serenity, noise from the busy street front somehow almost totally excluded. Room huge, bathroom excellent bed extremely comfortable, everything spotlessly clean and amenities fully satisfying my humble needs.
Management and staff could not be more friendly and obliging. Tarif quite reasonable.
I would stay there again and not hesitate to recommend to any family or friend to stay here

Cubana Motel Ballina - Take the time to stay

The Cubana Ballina experience starts on your arrival. A very welcoming reception.
The rooms are spacious with a fridge, microwave, hairdryer and bathroom soaps and shampoo.
The motel boasts a kitchen and a laundry for customers to use.
Housekeeping staff were kind, friendly and helpful.
I will definitely return to this motel. Well worth the stay.
