Beautiful Koorawatha

We stopped for a night at Koorawatha Homestead as we drive past often and love the mountainous view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were all so friendly and accommodating. It was perfect to be able to have our dog with us, and for him to be welcomed also. Service at the restaurant was great and the food was good. Having the fire pit set up was great for after dinner and it was lovely to stroll around the grounds and see the gardens and chickens. The room was lovely with its fresh update. Would recommend for sure.

Absolutely wonderful motel, excellent restaurant !

What a delightful motel! We arrived early evening and were checked in immediately by friendly and efficient staff. Moments later after settling into our room, we wandered over to Nana’s restaurant for a delicious meal of barramundi, chips and salad and pork ribs, chips and salad. Service here was fast, friendly and efficient, with a very respectable choice of beverages to have with our meal. Back to our room. Now, the motel is obviously old, but there have been clever updates of bathroom fittings and furniture, as well as fresh paint and soft furnishings. It is scrupulously clean and the entire place well maintained with every additional extra you could want- fridge, tea, coffee, biscuits, air conditioning. The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for a very long time. Sumptuous linen and plush pillows- perfect. A solid nights sleep was had by both of us, and we were delighted by the generous continental breakfast included in our stay.
The Koorawatha Homestead Motel deserves 5 stars for all areas- staff, food, amenities and comfort. I will happily return any time I’m up this way, and I recommend this motel for presenting such high standards.

Excellent service, pet friendly accommodation

Peaceful, scenic setting with very comfortable bed. The manager, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. It was such a relief to find this gem that is pet friendly, which gave us peace of mind too.

Best motel bed I’ve slept in for awhile. The service is impeccable.

Honestly great customer service. Great hotel rooms and the bed!!!!! Hard to find a motel in the highway that isn’t super loud but I’m only here for a night and I want to stay longer. Thanks to team!
