Check in and out was easy and location was amazing. The cabin was great for a couple however the bedroom/bathroom set up was strange and we can’t understand why you would have the bathroom in the bedroom.
Was also a bit annoying when the work cars came into the shed behind our cabin and started working at 6:30 in the morning when you’re trying to sleep and relax.
We also lost sound on the tv one night and would have been nice to have more cutlery and crockery so we didn’t have to wash up everyday while on holiday

Lovely park

Have a lovely experience staying here over the weekend. Such a beautiful park, excellent facilities but the staff were the main attraction. So lovely to deal with and will definitely be returning. Thanks so much for making my stay manageable.

Disgusting and unhealthy

When I arrived I was allocated a spot that was blocked by a temporary construction fence, so I parked in a vacant space next to my allocated spot. However, another van pulled up so I had to move. In doing so I tripped over the uneven ground and fell heavily, bashing my head on the ground.
Not happy, I went back to the office and asked if there were any other vacant spots. The guy behind the counter was helpful and gave me a map with about 15 alternative options. I wondered why I was put in the original spot when there were so many others.
On Tuesday morning I went into the men's amenities and noticed that someone had left one of the two sinks half full of soapy water. There was also rubbish on the floor of the toilets. I presumed it would be cleaned later in the day.
To my dismay the sink and rubbish hadn't been touched again on Wednesday. It was all still there again on Thursday, so I brought this to the attention of another man in the office. He told me that the amenities were supposed to be cleaned daily, but he'd 'look into' my complaint.
On Friday the mess was still there and getting worse, as you'd expect with people still using the toilets, sink and showers. The showers were a problem as the drainage was not done properly, so as you showered, the water flowed out of the cubicle instead of down the drain. Given that the grounds were wet, after so many days of no cleaning there were muddy footprints everywhere.
I left the park on Saturday around 9.30am and there still had been no cleaning done.
This is a disgusting and unhealthy situation, and I reported it again when they sent me an email asking for a review. At that time I asked for a reply, but none has arrived.
Most good parks have a sheet in the amenities block that gets signed off when cleaning has occurred. Lakeside Forster doesn't use this system, but a recommended this to them.
I'll never return to this place and warn others of their sloppy approach to cleanliness.

Great place to holiday

This is a great place to holiday, we stayed in a cabin for nearly three weeks. The cabin was immaculate and the grounds were very well maintained. From reception to Col grounds person and our cleaners Amanda Steff and Gai we were treated so well, each day we were greeted with hello is there anything you need. The amenities were spotless and the camp kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need.
If you had children there are lots of activities for them to enjoy.
You could not ask for better lovely surroundings and great people.
