Beautiful water views , relaxed and conveniently located.

We came up for a short break in the long weekend. We stayed in unit 4 which overlooked the water. Beautiful views and the unit looks recently renovated. Comfy lounges and beds, nicely decorated. Relaxing place so convenient to restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Yuck

This place gets good reviews so can only think we had the worst unit in the building - Unit 6 is aweful. Outdated, tatty uncomfortable, stained old furniture. Beds are just horrible. Not enough lounge seating for our group and only 2 small outdoor chairs on a very small porch. No iron, no light in the toilet. It is stuffy with limited natural light.
The water pressure is good.

Nice place.But key collection is a pain.

This is a nice place to stay. It isn’t too far from shops and restaurants and provides an underground car park.
We had a nice room with a balcony overlooking the seafront. It was equipped with a few essentials.
One thing we did not like was having to collect the keys from a business 3 km away. No reason why they can’t leave in a drop box on site.

Lovely location but getting tired

This was our second stay, last time we had the penthouse. The owners recently passed away and the family has moved this into corporate property management. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either. It’s getting old and it really does feel like it doesn’t have that personal touch anymore. It could do with modernising, and some fresh paint, but it’s still passable. One thing to note is the rather odd layout of the rooms, you figure it out quickly but it feels rather industrial in the corridors.

Charlton Apartments

Just spent 3 lovely days at unit 17 Charlton on the Esplanade, what a difference the apartment renovations have made with smart TV' light filled well cleaned in comparison to a previous stay
A big thankyou to new managers Carolyn and Adrian who were extremely helpfull.
