Highly Recommended

Amazing stay. I can't remember the owner's name, but he was incredibly helpful. We'd booked another hotel, but they messed us around, so we came here instead. He found us a one-bedroom to share for the night as that was all that was available. As soon as another room became free, he let me know straight away and moved me into my own place. Fantastic service and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend.

Possibly the worst caravan park in QLD

My family of 5 stayed here during quiet period for just under 3 months. It seemed like a nice place to be and the permanents were very welcoming and willing to help.
After settling in and a month passing we noticed the facade started to drop, this park is absolutely unhinged.
Meetings were held among permanents (including ourselves) not realising we had just settled in possibly the worst caravan park in great QLD.
The 5th day we were dragged into a meeting that was compulsory to attend. This meeting went on to address the disgusting state the amenity block was being left in. I’m not joking you, the amount of times I almost stepped into someone’s waste left behind a door or on hand rails and toilet paper dispensers.
Now had it not been for this place luring a vulnerable family in need with the hopes of finally attaining a lease (the only thing holding us back from putting the last 3.5 years living it rough behind us) I’d have packed up right there and then.
Eventually this all seemed to boil down into everyone becoming defensive and weary of each other. So much so people begun pointing fingers at each other and unfortunately we seemed to have been both literally and figuratively caught in the middle of it all.
A lot of classic caravan park gossip went on from there, complaints were thrown at one another like wildfire and we suddenly found ourselves at the centre of it all.
It was then I found out after sitting down and having a beer with Steve (the owner) and another permanent, that Steve actively engages in throwing out small bits of gossip to stir the pot.
I want you to know, as you sit there feeling high and mighty about your god complex and the position you’re certainly not cut out for.
You’re inhumane for waking my family and I up the morning after telling us you’re needing to put us on a lease, that we’re being kicked out. To add fuel to that fire and as if we don’t have enough on our plate you then harassed my wife and children while I was brining our belongings to a storage shed in Townsville.
To fuel your godcomplex some more you threatened too call the police if we don’t pack up family set of 5, a dog and a bird before 3pm. EVEN though we were paid up for another 4 days you refused to refund me without it being on your terms.
This park is NOT family friendly expect to be actively discriminated against by nosey permanents
Honestly just don’t come here unless you absolutely have too.
I’ll end my review with saying this place is ran by and unhinged ex prison guard and he runs it like he never left.

ACCOMMODATION ARRANGEMENT NOT HONOURED

Booked cabin accommodation for 4 nights with Ingham Tourist Park during school holidays in June 2024. Two days before we were due to arrive Steve rang and advised us that they would not honour the arrangement. Apparently they have road crews staying with them and their requirements take precedence over our confirmed booking. Suggested we try a motel down the road. Perhaps the road crew could have tried the motel down the road. Anyway no guarantee that Ingham Tourist Park will honour accommodation arrangements made with them. Be careful.

Top spot to stay in Ingham QLD.

This is an excellent park including Motel/cabin type accommodation. We had a powered van site, shady, clean as, power & water. Site was directly opposite amenities which are amazing ~ best we have ever experienced.
Park has a pool, camp kitchen and is a very safe and secure place to stay. Amy & David are very helpful and polite ~ wonderful hosts!!
Fully recommend this park ~ absolute top spot!!
