This motel is in a lovely quiet area just outside lakes entrance. Receptionist gave excellent service and although only basic motel lovely big room and hot shower,tea and coffee, fridge,toaster. Great hotel within walking distance with super good meals.

Located in a lovely quiet spot and only a short walk to the beautiful Kalimna Jetty. An added bonus is that there are pet friendly rooms available too.

Filthy, avoid!!

Absolutely filthy! Disgusting. Mouldy and gross, couldn’t even stand to touch anything, we lasted in the room 5mins before I called asking for a refund, which was refused. They offered to give my room to the next person checking in and give me theirs, but the other rooms were all the same! Filthiest place I’ve ever checked in to, I travel a lot and I’ve stayed in some dodgy joints!
The spare blankets in the cupboard smelled so bad, they clearly had been used and just put back in the cupboard. The stench in the room was awful, then they had tried to disguise the smell with cheap and nasty air freshener. Toilet seat broken and tap dripping. Not one spot looked clean!
I would avoid, sleep in your car.

The coastal walk is right next to this motel gream location! Also a pub hotel down the same street about a 2 min walk.

Disgusting customer service

My family friends and I stay at this motel ended up being one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. The room itself actually wasn’t bad. The way we were treated by the staff completely ruined the entire trip.
From the start, the customer service was hostile and unwelcoming. The staff spoke to us in a rude tone, as if they had already decided we were a problem before we had even done anything.
Things escalated when the staff began accusing us of things we hadn’t done. Instead of calmly speaking to us about their concerns, they immediately became aggressive and confrontational. The manager left the room and banged the door, then came back in accusing us of banging the door. This was just one of the numerous things they had accused us of.They also called us disgusting words. As a group of 15 families, their is prone to be noise which we had left them known about before booking.
What shocked us the most was that they ended up kicking us out and even calling the police on us. It was completely unnecessary. We were treated as if we had done something terrible when we had simply been trying to enjoy our trip. Because of this, our stay was cut short and our whole travel experience was ruined. This causing a large financial drain on us.
I would never recommend this place. No guest should be made to feel unsafe, discriminated against, or falsely accused while simply trying to stay somewhere for the night
