This place is a dump & should be avoided. I don't know how this place gets anymore than 1 star. Don't waste your $$$.

Booked here for 2 nights because they said the rooms were refurbish and close to restaurants. Arrived after 6pm after driving from Adelaide and went to the room to find a reasonable clean room but it had a strange smell, not bad but strange. Found the dirty, broken toilet and sunken toilet button not long after along with the tap on the basin that wasn't secure and moved when you lifted the lever to turn on the water.
Went to the RSL for dinner and came back to put the air conditioner on only to find the remote had no labels on the buttons so it was a guessing game to turn it on and change the temperature and fan speeds. The air just blew out of the unit as there was no air movement because the outlet was broken. The couch looked comfortable enough until you sat on it, there was no bracing under the cushions so you sink further than you should and end up leaning on a piece of the frame in the middle of your back. At this point I was starting the dread choosing this place. The bed was comfortable and the TV worked but it ended there.
At 6am I got into what was supposed to be a shower, it was more like a dribble. They had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner on the wall in a dispenser but there was no shower gel or shampoo. This was the moment I decided not to stay, after getting back in the afternoon from the job I was doing, I packed my bags and booked into another motel.
After explaining and showing the owners my reasons for leaving and asking for refund for 1 night, all they could do is make excuses. I should have ask for instructions on how to use the air conditioner, how about printing some instructions and leaving them with the remote. When I showed them the broken couch their answer was, Why don't I sit a a chair. I should have told them about the shower head, gel & shampoo, at 6 o'clock in the morning? They would not have answered.
After some negotiating they agreed to refund $100 out of the $130 for one night which I accepted. Except they didn't refund it to my credit card. Not only are these people liars but they are also crooks.

Room was mostly clean (carpet not) security gate squeked loudly whenever opened which was frequent and other patrons voices carried loudly through walkways all night long resulting in little sleep.

Good, but maybe needs a bit more TLC

We had one night at this motel and it suited our needs well. It was well priced and its location is excellent for Mildura's many excellent restaurants, just a couple of hundred metres down the road. Our room was spacious and clean with queen bed plus a single, and a desk. Wifi was good, bed comfy and bathroom also fine. Carpet in reasonable shape, which I find is always a good sign of a motel's quality. On the downside, there was some evidence maintenance was not a priority. Two of three fluorescent bedlights in the room didn't work. The carpark was littered with leaves, which made the place look unkempt.
