Excellent meal

A very charmingly decorated hotel, that serves an excellent steak dinner. Reasonably priced menu served by friendly wait staff.

Well worth the drive

We visited Miles for the first time in years and we popped into the bar in the morning for a coffee but alas their coffee machine was not working but the young male staffmember told us where we could get one nearby and mentioned that they would be serving meals on this public holiday. We went back for lunch thanked him for his suggestion and then had the freshest salad and grilled chicken and a fish chips and salad. Generous portions and very tasty and good prices. We must say it was the staff members friendly help initially that drew us back for lunch.

Good place to stay

This is mainly a review of the accomodation. I have eaten in the pub some years ago and found the food to be satisfactory but i think the Australian and Queensland pubs serve better meals. As to the accomodation it seems to be poplular with tradies. And as you would expect it is basic, the rooms need a bit of maintenance. But i found the rooms to be of an adequate size tidy clean and with no noise. As i say always in my reviews: you come to these places to sleep and change clothes. The bed was very comfortable. A good stay if you are not looking for the Ritz

Disappoing.

My partner and I had lunch there yesterday. The chips and lemonade were fine. The burger very ordinary. The Honey chicken was devoid of taste. We each ate about a fifth of our meal. It was a waste of $47. It is surprising to me that such tasteless food is being served.
