Charming accommodation

Charming accommodation close to the town centre.
Well maintained and there was absolutely nothing to complain about despite the business apparently being on sale. We hope the next owner will love this hotel as the previous owner did.

STEP BACK IN TIME...VERY COMFORTABLE STAY

As soon as you were greeted by Mandy the owner you knew it was going to be a great place to stay...With all the old charm and antiques it was a walk back in time...magnificent...oh and i can't forget Lily who loves a big pat...

What a wonderful place to stay. Owners Mandy and John are extremely friendly and helpful. I couldn't recommend Victoria House more.

Comfy & Quirky.

Such a comfy one night stay. We had room 8, downstairs by the front door. A good size and absolutely no noise from outside.
I cannot comment if you would hear much noise from other guests coming & going as there was only one other room in use at the time.
There is a separate lounge available for guests to use, and a quiet little garden area.
Afabulous house with a lot of history.

A wonderful stay in Portland

Victoria House is a welcoming and beautifully restored guesthouse in a great location.
Our room was spacious and well appointed, comfy bed, & good shower.
The breakfast room overlooks a delightful garden, and a full range of breakfast options is offered and made to order by Mandy.
Mandy is a wonderful host, starting from when I made our booking by phone, & we were met with a warm & friendly welcome.
Sightseeing and dining tips were useful.
