Best location, we went to the beach every morning with the boogie boards and the kids had a blast. It was clean but definitely in need of a renovation. The sliding door is difficult to open, the main hot plate and grill elements need replacing, the taps are difficult to turn off. But everything you need is there and the location was the absolute greatest. Night markets Thursday on the beach front were amazing!

The apartment was very dated. Fly screens did not fit properly, one had been cut to access window handle. Lounge settees uncomfortable. Kitchen very dated, worktops cracked, oven did not work very well, didn't dare switch grill on. Hole in wall in laundry room. Could go on!!!

The location of the apartment was excellent being practically on the beach, and we could sit on the tiny little patio and watch the sunset, which was beautiful. However, the first thing we were told on arriving at the apartment was the dishwasher and oven didn't work. Wasn't so important for a 2-night stay, but didn't create a great first impression. The front door didn't close at all, and we were only given a key for the flyscreen door, but it wasn't explained to us and we only discovered this after the manager had left. My son had to do a temporary job on the jamb of the door to ensure that the door stayed closed but didn't lock (as we had no key!) The apartment was clean enough but it definitely needs an upgrade and you just had the sense of being in somewhere that had had its day and was a bit rundown. We asked about the Wifi but were told that although it could be arranged, it was very expensive and we probably shouldn't bother!! This apartment is in a great location but just not much comfort in the apartment itself. Two nights was probably enough.

With broken flyscreens so we had to keep windows shut, non-functioning oven and dishwasher, a sofa that was broken and could not be sat upon, 2nd bedroom having only thin foam mattresses, no curtains on windows only blinds (hopeless for people like me who need dark room for sleeping) and only getting the promised wifi after four days of altercation with "manager" who looks after three of these units for the owner (and which incidentally are on the market now for over $600,000!) I would advise anyone considering staying here to look more closely around the area before paying nearly $200 per night for this place ..........

This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. A damage deposit of AUD 250 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Construction has commenced in the adjacent carpark to our apartment complex for Scarborough's latest development "The Dunes". Work is anticipated to complete mid 2027. During this period we apologize for any noise disturbance or inconvenience that could occur Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.30 pm. Thankyou for your understanding.
