Don’t bother. False advertising.
Cabin:
The cabin itself is newish, and it’s quite decent. The bedding and cabin were clean with basic tea and coffee provisions. I would happily stay in it again, for a single night as a stopping point on a longer journey.
Ensuite:
The bathroom is many, many decades old. There are cracked tiles, rusty towel rails, with a floor so old that you’d have no idea if it were clean or dirty, and no bench space to sit clothes. It just feels ‘ick’. It would be ick if it were the camp bathrooms and it’s even more nasty that it’s actually attached to a cabin. It now makes sense as to why there were no photos of it online. Even if the rest of the park were great, I wouldn’t stay here again simply because of the ensuite facilities.
Pool:
The pool was green. There was a guy cleaning it on the first morning after we arrived but you’d be safer swimming in a stagnant swamp. The pool remained green the 3 days we were there.
Park:
There is a park but it is quite small and the equipment is really suited more for young children (not my primary aged kids for reference). But young children can’t play in there because there is rubbish and random old chairs throughout it. When your kids say “that’s filthy”, you know it’s bad.
Games room:
My kids were super excited for this. Sadly of the 4 electronic ‘games’ in here (2 arcade games, air hockey and basketball), only 1 worked intermittently. I will say that the Giant Connect 4 and the TV worked fine.
Tennis court:
The only facility in great condition. I didn’t look into whether we could hire racquets from reception.
Camp bathrooms:
These are actually decent. I would use them over my cabin ensuite without a doubt. They’ve been renovated and were clean and tidy.
General:
This park is heavy on permanent or long term residents which would be fine but so many of their homes are filthy with old rubbish, couches etc dumped out the front for you to walk past. Rubbish bins overflow. Picnic tables are filthy.
Overall impression:
This park gives the impression that it is owned independently in the middle of nowhere, and going broke, not that it is actually an Ingenia park, associated with Big 4. They should be ashamed to have this in their property portfolio and the managers should be ashamed of themselves for taking families’ hard earned money but not delivering the advertised product. There is clearly no pride in this park, no love, and the bare minimum money and effort put into it. We are beyond disappointed with our 3 night stay and ended up spending hundreds more dollars than planned, just to entertain our kids because Ingenia can’t or won’t maintain their facilities. I will not return and nor will my family.
