A lovely hotel in a great location
I had a great stay overall. The beds were incredibly comfortable and made it easy to get a good night's sleep. Even though I booked a compact room, I was pleasantly surprised by the size - it felt spacious and had everything I needed. The shower pressure was also excellent.
The location is fantastic, with bus stops just a 1–5 minute walk away, providing easy access to Bondi, Coogee, Broadway, and other areas. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, with special thanks to Aina and Sophie for their outstanding service.
I also appreciated the hotel's security measures. Having to use a key card to access guest floors added an extra layer of physical security and made me feel safe during my stay.
My only suggestion for improvement would be the breakfast buffet. While there were plenty of egg and meat options available, the variety of hot vegan offerings was quite limited. Expanding the vegan breakfast selection would make the experience even better for plant-based guests.
Overall, I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with excellent staff.

Great stay
What a perfect hotel. Very friendly staff, enjoyable free buffet breakfast, spotlessly clean with great shower and bed and comfortable rooms. Cannot fault it!

Really good
The accomodation was really nice, the rooms were clean and comfortable. During the night the road was noisy but it wasn’t too bad. The location was good for what we were doing, close to the trains and city centre. Breakfast was really good and the rooms were decent sizes. They did really well to accommodate the forty of us.

Fantastic solo stay
Have just completed a 7 night stay in this hotel. I was a solo traveller and on arrival received a complimentary room upgrade which was much appreciated. I stayed in room 505 which was a de luxe king room on the 5th floor. It was ideal and had all comforts. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the shower was powerful-and all bathroom products provided were of a high quality. The location of the hotel on the edge of Hyde park in the CBD is very suitable for tourists or business people alike.
The complimentary breakfast was superb. There were many cooked options in addition to continental and coffee was very good quality.
I ate in the restaurant 5 nights and the food was superb. The happy hour was very good value.
The jewel in the crown for this hotel is their wonderful staff. I highly recommend and am actually returning for the last night of my holidays before I depart Australia as it is very convenient to the airport with excellent travel links.
The complimentary breakfast was superb. There were many cooked options in addition to continental and coffee was very good quality.

I always choose to stay at the Song Hotel in Sydney
Whenever I visit Sydney, I always choose to stay at the Song Hotel. The staff are just wonderful to interact with; they are always helpful, and I am always greeted with a smile.
The rooms are spotless, the beds are so comfy, the linen is crisp, and the variety of pillows makes it easy to find a comfortable position. The thick, generously sized block-out curtains keep the room dark and quiet so that you can get a good night's sleep.
The free WIFI signal is strong and fast, and the big-screen smart TV is a bonus.
Then combine all this with a free breakfast just to top it all off, with so many selections to choose from: crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, chipolatas, soup, pastries, toast, all the usual spreads, fresh fruit, breakfast cereals, freshly ground coffee, hot chocolate, teas and plenty more to choose from.
The fact that it is Australia's first not-for-profit hotel, where the profits are reinvested back into supporting women in Australia, and 25 cents in every dollar that I spend at the Song Hotel and the Song Kitchen is reinvested and contributes to the work of the YMCA Australia that's been supporting women for over 140 years.
They are also a part of the guest book loyalty program, so you can get rewarded for your stay and get credits towards your next stay.
